Government Arts College

The Government Arts College, Gandhinagar has been a center of Graduate and Post Graduate studies since the last 4 decades and more than 2000 students are enrolled each year. We offer 11 subjects as major and minor specialization. Although located in the state capital, this college caters to the needs of the students belonging to not only urban areas, but adjoining villages as well. Majority of our students belongs to under privileged sections of the society.

As an academic institution, we are conscious about the changing scenario in the field of education and constantly committed to honing skills of our students, in order to prepare them for the challenges posed by globalization. With the specific objective and ambition of exposing them to new avenues and creating awareness, the college organizes various activities aimed at capacity building. We feel that it is our duty to produce independent, secular minded adults, capable of free and rational thinking.
